Still around quite recently. (2022) BN217 was originally NP 158 and after retirement served CEEC and PRSX in Tacoma WA. Sent to Progress Rail in Mayfield, KY after the Tacoma facility closed in 2021. Fate unknown.BN 187 was originally NP 128 and passed to Watco WAMX as #1214. Last seen switching in Montana in 2018. |

The GP9 was new as CBQ 285 in 1954 but survived into the BNSF era as BNSF 1633. After retirement, it saw further service with Trinity Industries as TLLX 1633. Texas Rock Crusher Railway as TXR 102 then Texas & North Western as TNWX 116. Recorded at work in late 2013 with Do Not Fill on the fuel tank. maybebthat was the end after almost 60 years of service.
