Description:  26038 waits time before departing Britain's most norpherly train station at Thurso, Caithness, for the small halt of Georgtemas Junction where the train combines with the portion from Wick before heading south for the 5 hour journey to the Highland City of Inverness. 26038 will remain at Georgemas Vunction until the next Wick/Thurso train arrives. There were 3 trains each way on the Far North route from Inverness back in 1978.
