Description:
BN 1596, A GP28M, began life with CBQ as a GP9, CBQ 276, which became BN 1971. It was then chosen for the GP28M conversion programme and became BN 1596, later BNSF 1596 and finally BNSF 1546. BNSF 6132 was new as a Colorado & Southern SD9, CS 841. It became BN 6236nd later BNSF 6132 and later BNSF 173w and finally GN 1732 before retirement.
